Editorial Policy
Axtra Studios’ editorial policy
Axtra Studios designs and builds web apps, mobile apps and the brands behind them for startups and growing businesses worldwide. That work is also what we write about in Insights, our articles on product design, development, AI in products and launching a first release, drawn from projects we have shipped. This page explains who writes that content and the standards it is held to.
Who writes our content?
Our Insights are written by the people who do the client work: the co-founders, Zafar Ahmed, Shahzaib Shakeel and Subhan Shahzad, and the designers and developers on our team. Every article names its author and their role at Axtra, with a link to their profile.
Where a second person has checked an article for accuracy, the article says who.
How we use AI
We do not publish unreviewed, fully AI-generated articles. We use AI tools to help with research, outlines and first drafts, the way we use them in our own product work. A named person on our team writes the final article, checks every fact and figure in it, and approves it before it goes live.
What we stand for
- Grounded in practice. We write from what we have built, not from theory. When an article says something works, it is backed by our own project experience or by a source we link to.
- Accurate. We check facts, figures and claims before publishing, and correct them when we get something wrong.
- Independent. No article is written to promote a tool, platform or partner. When we name one, it is because it is relevant to the problem, not because of a commercial arrangement.
- Useful over promotional. Articles exist to help founders and product teams make better decisions. When one mentions our own work, it is there to show a point, not to sell.
Numbers and sources
Prices, timelines and statistics in our articles come from our own projects or from sources we link to. Cost ranges are given in US dollars and describe the market at the time of writing; the article’s date tells you when that was.
How we keep content current
Tools, prices and good practice change, so we review older articles and update them when their facts no longer hold. An article’s “Updated” date moves only when its content changes in substance, never for a typo fix or a redesign of the page around it.
Language
Insights are written in US English, for the American teams most of our readers work in. The rest of this site is written in British English.
Corrections
If you spot an error in one of our articles, tell us through the contact page or at info@axtrastudios.com. We check every report and correct confirmed mistakes on the article itself.
Third-party contributions
If we publish a guest article, it is held to this policy before it goes live and is clearly credited to its author.
Scope
This policy covers our Insights articles. It does not cover our case studies, which describe work we delivered for clients.
