We run no advertising or social-media tags, and we tell Clarity not to use your visit for advertising. Microsoft’s own cookies above can be set on its domains when Clarity runs, and one of them, MUID, is one Microsoft also uses for advertising across its services; we receive none of that. If we ever add advertising tags, the notice will ask you separately before any is set, and this table will list them first.
Embedded video
Video reviews play in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; once you do, YouTube may store data in your browser under Google’s cookie policy.
Your choices
On your first visit a notice asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Accept and Decline are equally easy, and until you choose none are set. To change your answer, open (here and in our privacy policy). Choosing Decline after accepting stops analytics and removes the cookies set on this site; cookies Microsoft set on its own domains can be removed in your browser’s settings.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking our own consent cookie just means the notice will ask again.
Changes
We update this page and its date whenever the list of cookies changes.
